Benromach 40 YO Single Malt Whiskey 57.1% vol. 0.70l
The single malt whiskey had a full 40 years to develop its opulent aromas. The maturation period was completed in hand-picked first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. The flavor world focuses on aromatic citrus fruits, balanced spices and fine nuances of cane sugar. A limited treat for whiskey connoisseurs.
Tasting Notes
Nose : The varied bouquet brings out notes of zesty ginger, fresh lemons, warming cinnamon, sweet caramel candy, a hint of beeswax and spicy oak.
Palate : Juicy oranges nestle around ripe apples, intense spice, brown sugar, fresh garden herbs and charred oak.
Finish : The silky smooth and persistent finish is accompanied by fresh citrus and aromatic oak.
