With the Double Eagle Very Rare 20 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey, the Buffalo Trace Distillery from Kentucky presents a strictly limited new addition to its Eagle Rare family, which is not only a real whiskey treasure, but also a masterful one crafted crystal decanter comes. The bourbon, which is only available in an edition of 299 decanters, lives up to its name and was matured twice as long as the standard Eagle Rare 10 years. It is also the oldest release ever in the Eagle Rare Bourbon series. The whiskey rarity is characterized by its graceful aromas of vanilla, roasted oak and caramel and has an alcohol content of 45% vol. The Double Eagle Very Rare 20 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey is delivered in a luxurious 0.75 l crystal carafe noble silver packaging, which is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.

The name “Double Eagle” has two meanings for the rare 20-year-old bourbon whiskey. On the one hand, it matured twice as long as the 10-year-old Standard Eagle Rare in Buffalo Trace’s range, and on the other hand, two eagles can be seen in the artfully designed bottle. The decanter not only has a crystal eagle at the top of the cap, but also one in the bottle. According to Buffalo Trace, it took two years to develop the crystal masterpiece and the silver casket. The luxurious decanter and great 20 year old bourbon were worth the wait. The result is a real collector’s item that, with only 299 pieces in total, is rarely found on the market.
