DESCRIPTION:
A FORTY-YEAR-OLD, INCREDIBLY RARE AND BOMBASTIC LOWLAND GENTLEMALT, HIDDEN FROM PRYING EYES WITH A PRECIOUS WOODEN CASKET, THE LAST OF AN ALREADY VERY SMALL NUMBER OF BARRELS.
Nose: Dark, toasted malt and Tobacco, accompanied by citrus fruits such as kiwis and a hint of red apples, accompanied by a wonderfully spicy carpet of buttercream
Palate: full volume, dark cream, in conjunction with slightly toasted oak, and butter-soaked toast, the whole is from a fresh and Spicy aroma accompanied by cardamom and plum jam
Finish: impressively long, with arms of smoked wood and slightly sweet anise
A 1969 Kinclaith single malt, bottled by Signatory Vintage. After 40 years of maturity bottled in 2009. Kinclaith was closed in 1975 and dismantled. A super rare single malt Whiskey from a lost distillery. Individually numbered by hand, this filling comes in the velvet-lined, representative wooden box of the Rare Reserve Series incl. Signed by Andrew W. Symington Certificate of Authenticity
