This luxurious whiskey masterpiece is Glenrothes’ first 50-year-old single malt and the oldest whiskey ever released in the distillery’s 140-year history. This whiskey rarity was distilled in 1968 and spent its full half-century maturation in American bourbon and sherry casks in the distillery’s warehouses in Rothes, Speyside. The Single Malt Scotch Whiskey with 48% ABV is a strictly limited bottling that was released with only 50 exclusive crystal decanters. With the purchase of the rare whiskey comes an invitation to the distillery, to learn about the Glenrothes Master Distillers and the distillery. The luxurious crystal decanters are handcrafted and individually numbered and are delivered in an elegant black box.
